Thanksgiving is always a fun time of year. It’s a time to reconnect with family, friends, and loved ones and a time to reflect on what is really important in life. I also enjoy Thanksgiving from a tech perspective because it really is the calm before the storm with holiday tech deals. Although some of these deals seem like a great buy, be sure to do your research before you actually put that charge on your credit card! So I want to share some tools and resources that I’ve been using to make sure the “Black Friday/ Cyber Monday” deals are in fact deals for your life.

This website is an amazing, free tool to check product price history on all things for sale on amazon.com. Now I’m a huge fan of Amazon. I’d consider myself a true Amazonian, but prices do fluctuate on Amazon’s website. This tool will show you if it’s the “best” historical price and you can even set up notifications to get notified of a specific product price drop.

Staying on the Amazon theme here, woot.com is an awesome website that was acquired by Amazon some time back. Now the cool thing with woot.com is that they provide free fast shipping if you’re an Amazon Prime member. Woot has daily deals, not only around Black Friday/ Cyber Monday, but every single day of the year. Sometimes you can snag a fantastic deal of Apple products such as an iPad, MacBook, or even iPhone at a fraction of the cost directly from Apple.

Best Buy has been offering amazing deals lately on Apple products. I’ve been a fan lately of purchasing an Apple product such as iPad, HomePod, etc. from Best Buy because let’s think about it, you’re getting the exact same product as you would directly from Apple. Best Buy this Black Friday has been offering some pretty steep discounts on iPad, Apple Watch, and HomePod for the Holiday season. Be sure to check out their offerings!

Now there is no denying that Apple Watch will be a very hot item this Holiday season. I’ve been a true advocate of Apple Watch since the product launched in 2015, and I believe it’s the core product that will drive Apple into the future of health and well being for its users. This season Walmart and other companies are slated to sell the Apple Watch Series 3 38mm GPS edition for $129.00. That is an amazing price for Apple Watch Series 3! There have been many reports already that this feature has saved peoples lives by simply wearing the watch. So understanding that, it allows us to think differently about Apple Watch. It’s not only a watch, but rather a lifeline and safety tool connecting you to your loved ones, and providing you a level of protection in time of need. The only real differences between series 4 and series 5 is series 5 has an always on display, built in compass, as more local storage. So although the $129.00 price tag is enticing this holiday season for Series 3, I’d recommend to upgrade to Series 4 or 5 to ensure you’re future proof and taking advantage of all of Apples health benefits of the product.

This is a product that I’ve been no stranger to, and something that has resonated with me as a consumer. I personally feel it’s the most approachable and engaging way to workout in your own home. Remember if you are specifically looking for a phone deal, you can go directly to the phone manufacturer such as Google or Samsung to buy the device outright and take it to your provider and add it to your plan.
