Sharing Your Mac Screen During A Meeting? Enable Do Not Disturb!
We have all seen it happen, someone is sharing their screen for a presentation whether it be a PowerPoint, PDF, Keynote, etc and they get some embarrassing or distracting message notification in the upper right hand corner of their Mac. There is a very easy and reliable feature built into macOS called “Do Not Disturb” that is perfect to use in a situation like this.
You can find the Do Not Disturb menu in the upper right hand corner of the screen in Notification Center. Now all you need to do to reveal this DND feature is either swipe or scroll upward. Flip the Do Not Distrub switch, and you’ll be good to go. One thing to notice is that when you enable Do Not Disturb on a Mac it will stay enabled for the rest of that day. So if you forget to turn it off, no worries. Tomorrow you’ll start to see notifications populate again in Notification Center.
