Too Many Emails? Unsubscribe With The Mail App

It seems to happen to all of us, doesn’t it? Somehow, someway we end up getting on mailing lists and email starts flowing into our inbox that we never wanted in the first place. Thankfully Apple has a feature built into iOS that allows us to easily unsubscribe. 

To initiate this launch the iOS Mail App and find an email that looks like a spam mailing list that you don’t want to be a part of. You’ll see the banner at the top with the option to “Unsubscribe”.

This button initiates Apple sending an email on your behalf to take you off of the mailing list. Now this works by an algorithm that Apple has developed to predict the address and mailing list in question.

While this doesn’t work all of the time, it’s a quick, easy, and functional way to start to get your inbox whipped into shape! 💪
