iPhone Leather MagSafe Wallet: The Accessory To Buy This Year
The one item that really stuck out to me from the California Streaming event was this new and improved iPhone Magsafe Leather Wallet. A quick overview of this product is:
-It’s one of the cheapest Apple accessories you can buy to date coming in at $59.00 USD.
-It snaps directly to the back of your iPhone or iPhone MagSafe case.
-I fit approx. 3 hard cards and a metro card in the wallet comfortably. (Remember with ApplePay being accepted at more and more places, it makes sense to carry less physical cards with you.)
-I got mine to work with my Non Official Apple Case on my iPhone 12 Mini, so having a specifically “approved” case isn’t set in stone.
-It pairs Instantly.
-The wallet is shielded to keep cards safe.
-It can notify someone on your contact phone number if they pair it to their iPhone after you set it up to yours, so they can contact you to give you your wallet back.
-And It can be found via the FindMy App, sending a notification in as little as 1 minute of the wallet being disconnected from the iPhone.
I was quite impressed by how simplistic yet intuitive this little wallet is. In the FindMy app you are able to specify your phone number to be displayed if someone else snaps the wallet to their iPhone. This gives you peace of mind if a kind soul finds it and happens to snap it to the back of their iPhone they’ll get your contact information. Additoinally you can choose to receive notifications on your iPhone if the wallet is detached for longer than 1 minute from your iPhone. How cool is that?
For $59.00 I really feel it’s going to be a top seller this season for the iPhone.

I tested this product out on my iPhone 12 Mini as my iPhone 13 doesn’t arrive until Friday Sept 24th which is launch day.
Also to call out that I am running iOS 15 which is of course the latest version of iOS and launched Monday Sept 20th as a free over the air upgrade.
I’ve been a pretty big proponent of not using the iPhone case/ wallet combo -- but this product finally convinced me to give it a shot. I really like how the wallet so seamlessly and firmly snaps to the phone, as well as gives you peace of mind with the security features leveraging Apple’s FindMy App and ecosystem.
It’s a big thumbs up for me on this product. Can’t recommend it enough. Bravo Apple! 👏
