Closed A Tab in Safari? Bring it Back with This Button
It’s happened to all of us it seems, hasn’t it? We are browsing a web page, moving too quickly on our devices, and all of a sudden we accidentally close the tab. Now instead of opening the “History” menu and locating the exact page we were on, Apple allows you to bring back this recently closed tab with one button on a mobile device.
That would be the + button, which if you tap creates a new tab. So instead of tapping, hold your finger down on the + button in the bottom cetner of mobile Safari and you will see an entire list of “recently closed tabs”. Now this works across iOS, iPadOS, and even macOS in Safari.
On the Mac if you click and hold the + button you will see a list of recently closed tabs. Now on any Apple device that is connected with a keyboard you can go one step further and execute the keyboard command of (Command + Shift + T). This will bring back the most recently closed tab, and basically go right down the list re-opening closed tabs from the recently closed list.
So the next time you are in a rush, or a website accidentally closes, you can be sure to reopen those tabs with a tap and hold, or a quick keyboard command.
Hope it helps, and keep in touch friends!
